The Museum has exhibited several major shows over the past years on The Greatest Grid:The Master Plan of Manhattan, 1811 2011, and on Capital City: New York’s Banks and the Creation of a Global Economy. But their goal now is to attract a larger audience with a permanent exhibit that will open in the fall of 2016. Housed in the three first floor galleries, it will provide an overview of New York City history, with the first gallery focused on the Colonial period to 1898, the second, on the years 1898 to 2012 and the third, on the present and the future.
In Europe and in some sections of the United States hunts are held, where a fox is followed by trained hounds and mounted hunters until he is run down and captured by dogs. In the eastern United States he is chased by trained hounds until he is driven past a waiting hunter, until he is shot. In the past he was widely trapped for his fur.
My goal in posting is sharing about the experience of actually thinking out and curating shoe purchased from a very restrictive standpoint in brands and budget. There was literally a question here the other day about how many shoes people had and there were plenty of people with 30+ pair shoe collections. 20 pair may not seem small to you but it very small to me, and perviously I treated shoe purchases like the way I treated accessory purchases and the way a lot of people treat shoe purchases: a new pair for every big event, or just whenever I saw something cute on sale.
My brother in law griped over the holidays that his Facebook feed is so overrun by Beachbody postings that he refuses to evenlog on anymore. In recent months, I’ve heard from friends and acquaintances I haven’t heard from in years. And it’s clearthat they don’t just want to reconnect they want a new client, a new recruit.
You probably recognize the sound of a Harley motorcycle. If you don’t, try roaring “potato potato potato” into a microphone, and you’ll be close. But today there’s a much quieter motorcycle sneaking up behind the Harley, the 2010 Zero S street motorcycle.
In South America, meanwhile, the state wide marijuana decisions are reverberating politically. Already, Uruguay has proposed a measure to legalize the sale of marijuana while Colombia has decriminalized personal consumption of both cannabis and cocaine. State wide marijuana initiatives make Obama look like a laughing stock.
Epilepsy is recurring seizures, and there are lots and lots of seizure types, and often they aren noticeable, even immediately so for the sufferer. Triggers for these seizures are more likely to be hyperventilation, stress, alcohol or sleep deprivation, or stuff like that, than strobe lights. Epilepsy is also pretty common, and it likely you go to school or work with someone who has it, in a reverse of the title.
